  • The National Book Festival hosted thousands of people this week in Washington, D.C.
    Italians had great success at the National Book Festival 2016 which took place on September 24th at the Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The event was organized by the Library of Congress and held over 220,000 visitors in just one day.

The Italian American Writers Association (IAWA) presents writers Jonathan Galassi and Jane Tylus on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Cornelia Street Café, 29 Cornelia Street in New York City’s West Village, (212-989-9319); www.corneliastreetcafe.com. The reading takes place from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and kicks off with Open Mic readings of five minutes after which the featured writers take the stage.
