  • Nordstrom has launched the first of two phases of “We Love IT” in eight Texas locations with special pop-up series celebrating Italian fashion. 55 Made in Italy brands in apparel, accessories, jewelry, footwear, eyewear, perfumery and beauty.     The seminar Current Food, Wine & Restaurant Trends in Italy: Will they Happen Here? Held at VINO 2016-Italian Wine Week looked at some of the key established and emerging trends in Italy with respect to wine, cooking and dining out. Hosted by David Rosengarten, it featured Lydia Bastianich, TV host, chef and restaurateur, Daniele Cernilli, Italian wine critic, Dino Borri, International Head Buyer at Eataly, Ian D'Agata, Scientific Director at Vinitaly International Academy, and Trade Commissioner Maurizio Forte.

For the first time in the 61 years of show history, the organizers, Specialty Food Association, a not-for-profit trade association based in New York for food artisans, importers and entrepreneurs, have elected a partner country as well as the sponsor of the great event.
