We’re not looking at demonstrations and we don’t want to hurt anybody. We are in a process of celebrating. This is our season. We celebrate Columbus’s voyage, as well as our own personal family voyages.

In those days you conquered, pillaged, raped, and you moved back to your country. So, if Christopher Columbus was involved in that by finding a trade route, then he was involved. But that has nothing to do with what we did. We came looking for a better life.
